The 2010 V is fabulous! I can't believe the improvements over the Gen2 -- even though I saw the car back in January.
The Blizzard Pearl has become quite the popular color now that more people have been able to see it. I'd love to see it with the Misty Grey interior. I had a very difficult time choosing between the Blue Ribbon Metallic (Bisque) and your colors.
There may be no better time to get an extended warranty than with the first year of a new model. At the same time, I have not purchased the extended warranty myself. It can be purchased at any time prior to 36,000 miles or 3 years (I think!!!). There are some benefits in having it earlier. I don't see how an extra $700 is the right price for oil changes, however!
