The camera works best installed at the top of the window. The video is shot upside down but that is no problem because there is free software on the web that converts it too right side up. If you put it on your dash it gets quite hot with the sun beating on it so I put it on top so the sun can't get to it much. If you have your front window tint moved down it will keep the sun off of it.

not a bad idea because i got ran off the highway by a truck driver he did not even see me in the left lane he gave me the bird and i just lol at him i really need one of those thanks good friend , and oh yea i'm going to replace all 6 speaker's in my car with MTX Thunder speakers the sound will be even better

The camera is proof of what actually happened if I get into a accident. Most of the time the other guy blame's you so this little guy will show the real truth. If someone cuts you off you have video of his rear with the license number to prove who did it.

? do you take your car in a car wash , just wondering cause i took my prius through a car wash and the paint came off the shark fin antenna not happy with it but i used touch up paint to touch it up on the tip of the fin , I e-mailed the shark fin web sight about it , I hope they will resend another one to replace this one / I love it , it makes the car look very good cause some girl like's it and loved the car and wanted me to sell my prius to her i was shock , then some guy pull up in his prius and ask me where i got the shark fin antenna at / just to let you know I'm a guy not a girl cause people get mix up rrobin1057 is not a girl it's my first and last name together lol and it's ok to call me by my first name Robert , i got on priuschat to make friends and share info about our prius, i'm also on Facebook , and cell e-mail robinette.robert@yahoo.com,

I did not need that Robin. I don't have an issue with stuff falling on my back bumper.
