Friends: 0 |  CD Titles My 2005 Prius comes with the basic CD player, so I haven't expected to see CD track titles displayed on the screen. I just got a relatively old, commercial CD (The Producers, B'way Soundtrack, 2001), and lo and behold when I played it, the tracks can be seen!! Does anyone know if this mean that my player does have this capability, or will it just be true for certain random CD's? |

Friends: 0 | the CD has to have CD TEXT on it. When i burn CDs for my car, I carefully name all the tracks and disc name, since the CD TEXT can be burned onto it. I use Roxio, and it has a checkbox to enable or disable CD TEXT. Some commercial CDs have it, since it takes no space. There should be a marking on the CD case if it has it, though I'm not sure where to look for it |
