Newbies - Let's See Some Pics!

<tooting my horn> Sorry I have no pics yet, but I have arrived! Slightly dazed from all the shopping and research, but recovering quickly, especially now that I have this shiny new car to drive. We picked her up yesterday.

About pics - it has been raining here for five days and more is predicted for the next seven. If it ever stops, I will send in my pic.

We got Classic Silver/Misty Gray leather, pkg III with solar/nav. Looks lovely, even in the Georgia rain. We drove it on several errands on the way home yesterday, and took her out again today. Even in the rain, we are learning quickly how to drive efficiently and we are having fun.

Thanks so much to everyone who participates in Prius Chat. You really helped the DH and me with this purchase.

Edited to add: I am going to put a thread in the Dealership/Pricing forum about available cars in GA and TN with and without solar.

Here is my Barcelona Red that I picked up in August. Have about 2K on it now and seem to be consistently in the low 50's for mpg.

Bought it early Aug and delivery Aug 26th from Seeger Toyota, got a really good deal from US bank Finacing (3.02% on 36 months for 15k), Trim II. So far trip B best is 70.4 MPG on 7 - 8 mile trip (prob was doing 12 - 16 mph in 25 suburb area

. Overall one tank already filled I think about 472+ miles, 9.08 gallons but I calculated about 52.55 MPG for that tank.

Daily commute one way is about 7.8 - 8 miles all back roads and one or 2 main roads (Avoiding travelling I-270 and I-64 Maryland Heights to Chesterfield MO)

It's my first hybrid. Had narrowed it down to either VW Jetta 2009 / 2010 TDI Diesel else Prius.

Here's mine, purchased on Sept. 26. Photo detail isn't great, I used my phone because I wanted to capture my pup chilling with the new toy.

We got our Barcelona Red Prius II in late July.
There's about 1800 miles on it now, and we love it.

Ledge: Where in WI do you live? I live in Madison and my new RED Prius is due one week from today. I see many many Prius around here, but have not seen a red one on the road.
PS What is the plural of Prius, anyway???

It took a while, but I was lucky to find a III with Solar Roof, and no leather, in the Northeast.

Got a great deal, >$1000 under MSRP, too.
