Probably not. It's a pretty small vehicle and does not suit my needs.

I wanted to check out the site even though I'm not interested in the car but it seems everybody here is worried about the earth ending.

Agreed. Midsize cars do not suit everyone's needs; only probably ~90% of the population.

Yeah. Pfft! All of these crazy people! I mean, what's really wrong with the Earth ending anyway?!

I'm with you.

I'm hitching a ride with the Vogons soon.

I haven't heard really good Vogon poetry lately.

Welcome, Jimmie! Expect a little bit of a reaction after a comment like that. People here pretty well like the Prius, as you may have gathered by now

I like it too. Mine replaced a much larger station wagon, but it is nearly as big on the inside and nearly as versatile. The classic Prius, 4 or 5 model years ago was a compact car, but the current version is mid-size. When I went for a test drive, my wife was saying "it's too small," until she got inside. She was sold immediately.

Hi Jimmie,

Like many people out there, you are simply misinformed about the Prius (e.g., the 2004-present models are midsize with a lot of interior room) and those who choose to drive one (I cut down a tree last summer!). Read some of the posts and ask questions and I think your opinions of the Prius and its owners may change.

Also, if you spend too much time in the politics forum, you'll get a pretty skewed idea of what Prius owners are like.

It is a free country, so you have the freedom to choose what you want to drive. One thing I guarantee you...the earth is not going to end in your lifetime. Enjoy browsing the forum and feel free to ask some technical questions.

Well, I guess technically the earth can never end in one's lifetime. That is, a force so tremendous as to destroy the earth would kill everything on it before the earth could actually be destroyed.

See Jimmie, we're not all doom and gloom around here!
