Hi
Just to introduce myself I live in the UK and am looking for info on the Prius before I buy one. Advantages in the UK, reduced car tax ($70 instead of $270), cheaper fuel, great audio, bluetooth. Disadvantages, no hands free available in the UK yet, SAT nav not updatable, much less room in the trunk than current Renault MPV

Tony,

Apart from the space in the boot (the Prius being a hatchback rather than an all-out family MPV) the other issues are easily solvable by buying a third party Sat Nav with BlueTooth technology. I recommend Garmin as the maps are good and the units are kinda cute. What's more, they have a presence in the UK so the prices should be reasonable and support should be good. I own one of these yokes since 2004 and never had a single problem with it (it doesn't have bluetooth but I'll buy a new one that does in the next while).
