I still have 4 pips left on gas gauge I dont think it was completely full when I got it ..I am really happy with that I know I can do much better on next tank ..I am getting better hitting the Glide(no arrows) but it sure is hard to hit and keep it there some times..I here some on here talking about lifetime average is that something one has to keep on paper or is it kept on display somewhere? Its still rather cool here was around 40 this morning and about 60 degrees when I came home.... |

I can do 4.7L/100km (50mpg) if I tried or if I get lazy, it slips to 5.3L/100km (45mpg). We're sitting between 0°C and 10°C. In your case, you can probably hit 50mpg in the first summer, then next summer, you can aim for 55mpg The reason is that it depends on A/C usage. Spring/fall is usually the best time cause the A/C compressor won't run (if you leave it in AUTO) as the fan is enough to keep you cool but you don't need the heater or A/C to give you cold air. mcmoyer, people in TX and FL are the only ones that can consistently get close to 60mpg with little effort. The rest of us need to work at it to get 60mpg. Aim for 60!

My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #2 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Well after work I was at two pip's and gas there was $3.09 so I filled up it held 8.09 gallons I then reset and took off home. I am blown away at how good of fuel mileage this thing is getting...I am getting much better at gliding and looking ahead I drive mainly interstate and am using the cc most of time but there are a couple of big hills I take it off and hyper-glide..I hope I can maintain this average rest of tank I will keep you posted..... Thanks ![]() |
