Friends: 0 | Hi everyone. Just bought my Prius and have to say me and wife are in love with it; Great car. Not as fancy as 2004 Nissan Murano ( the gas hog) we have, but alot more fun to drive. probably be selling the gas hog soon and buying another Prius. Wanted to go out and buy some accesories this week and just wanted to know before I buy them, do mud flaps take away from your gas mileage? If so how much can I expect to loose. |

Friends: 0 | They put holes through the nice factory corrosion protection coatings. Don't do it. |

Friends: 0 | Easy to install, I removed the tiers and I think you drill a couple of extra spots for screws and you re-use other screw mounts. I think any exposure to corrosion would be negligible. |

Friends: 0 | Congrats on the new Prius, sadric. Sounds like we are in a similar situation when it comes to getting rid of gas guzzlers. I am trying to convince my wife to also trade-in her '05 Murano, but she insist that she wants a larget vehicle for now. (Let's see how long that will take )I really like my Prius as well, but I don't intend to install mud flaps. There is a mixed feeling about mud flaps in this forum as you can see. For the meantime, my Prius is staying away from mud .Drive safe. |
