Just got an 2008 Barcelona Red Package #2 for MSRP, $24,300 plus tax and license. Seemed fair from what I hear people 200 miles away in Los Angeles are paying.

No, but they are still taking deposits for $150 off MSRP. I'm about half way through an 8 week wait. My father in law just got on Sunnyvale's list for the same thing but the wait is now up to 12 weeks.

Sunnyvale Toyota has stated policy that they always sell below MSRP.

Subtracting the 6% PA Sales Tax and $660 Destination Charge, that means you paid less than $21,000 - more than $300 below invoice. That's highly unusual for this past April. You must have had a dealer that was very charitable.

Thumbs up Re: What are folks paying now?

Two days ago, we took delivery on a 2008 Prius package #2.

$22,509 = car + floor mats.
$ 279 = documentation fee.
$22,788 = total out the door price.

Ordered on May 7, 2008. Available on July 7. Picked up July 10.

I ordered just as things were starting to heat up...but before the Prius ordering started to get crazy.

We were shopping in Oklahoma City and the dealership had a 4-5K market value added to our build profile. They had some coming in, 31K was the cheapest and 36K highest with a package 6 with lots of bells and whistles. We decided to shop were my wifes sister got her Prius 08 package 5 with fabric seats for 27.8K in western Arkansas. We are wanting a package 4 with leather and now are on the list. Our deposit was 1/2K in Arkansas, but it would have been 1k in Oklahoma City (I know that they don't cash check or charge your card to hold the car, but it's the idea). Anyone else having the market value added to their purchase?
