My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #2 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Get as close to the base price as you can. Pkg 2 is probably worth getting for $575. The other options just pad the price. At $24K, you've got a good buy. Anybody know the current price of the Touring model with pkg 2? You can't build one anymore on the Toyota website. The base Prius is now $22875? without options or delivery. Last edited by PriusSport; 06-09-2008 at 10:20 PM. |

My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #6 Touring Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | the touring fully loaded is a fun car. i have one. you will not regret it. plus do not let people tell you that you cannot do the navigation while driving. that is what voice is for. just hit the voice prompt button on the steering wheel and say "address". it will prompt you from there. i used it today. |

I wanted the touring for the LARGER tires, as taller tires seem to ride better over road discrepancies. I wanted the stiffer suspension, since my youth I've liked this. Am I having second thoughts? Actually, I'm not. I would like the taller tires (16") but I'd also like to drop the body down 1.5 inches. Since I'm older, I seem to appreciate the softer ride more. Since I purchased the package #6, I'm holding tightly onto the plump (by comparison) leather seats. ZC1 Last edited by ZC1; 06-09-2008 at 10:43 PM. | |

My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #5 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Just took possession of my new OPrius. I had the same issue. Changed my mind about 15 times, a;most drove the poor dealer nuts! Decided on a compromise. A non touring with a package 5, the best of both worlds. |
