Joined the Waitlist

Spoke with two local dealerships in the area, was planning on getting on both their list but only was able to get on one. The other dealership cut off their list at 10. I'm #17 or 18 on the list at the dealership of choice as of June 5th.

Standard $500 refundable deposit and MSRP. Magnetic Grey Metalic, package #2. Quoted a timeframe of 60-90 days. Gives me time to sell my honda civic and hopefully get more than they would take on trade.

I also called the big dealership in Portland, and was told they have 70+ on their waiting list. Most all of those are for the higher packages, so its possible I might be able to get one sooner if I tried harder. (Really want to sell the civic first then get more into the search)

I don't mind looking around, and getting it from another dealership, its not like its a standard car and there giving such a good or fair deal on it. They are getting at least MSRP, which is fully understandable giving the situation, so shoping loyalty is realitivly low on my list right now. (Does this seam selfish?)

I don't that is being selfish, you are looking out for your best interest, as is the dealerships that you are in contact with. Buying a car isn't about making someone else happy.

where in Oregon are you? I am in Medford, sounds like you may be further north?
