You know the list: Battery problems, CVT, jump start horror stories, evil dealers, etc. Honestly all the hybrid hater stories had me running to Honda for an Accord, until this site set me straight. All cars will have problems. I think the small number of Priuses (Prii?) with problems is enough for me to take the plunge. And it's all your fault! I'm still eagerly awaiting my Package 2 which the (polite) dealer informed we would take up to 90 days. Anyway, hi to everyone and thanks for the community of knowledge. |

My Car: 2007 Prius Package: #4 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 1 | Before you pay for your Prius you better hear about my SKS horror story. About once a week I forget my fob in the house. I sit down in the car and press the "Power" button and my car beeps at me! You would think that after a year my car would know it was me based upon the shape and weight of my backside, BUT NO I need to go back into the house and get the fob. I don't know what's worse; the frustration of going back into the house or the hurt that my car didn't know it was me! Other than that it's a great car. Congratulations on the smart purchase and thank you for validating our choice in a car as well. |
