"New" used Prius Owner

I just purchased a used 2001 Prius with 112k mi...little nervous since I know near zero about this new technology. My display is showing an average 37 mph (which I thought was supposed to be higher) and yesterday after doing a lot of highway driving I heard a beep and then noticed on the display the battery light came on very briefly and then I saw the words "problem corrected". Any ideas?

Welcome to the site. Can't help with the beep & light. Fuel economy is influenced by many factors. Look for the sticky post. Check your tire pressure & inflate to the max pressure listed on the sidewall. Harder tires deliver better economy.
