Friends: 0 | Hi, After having spent 1 week torturing (& getting tortured at times) toyota dealers , below is the best I was quoted... I am still not sure if this is the best deal - given how pathetic the economy is at the moment and how desperate car dealers are to hand us over the car.. Could you please comment? Brand new 2009 Prius Touring (Pkg # 6) : Doormats and rear applique sticker included for $30,700 - ON THE ROAD (includes tax (NY), registration and title). Friends: 1 | I live in Massachusetts and just did a deal for a 09 standard pkg#6 for 100 below dealer at 26,815.00. I am picking it up tonight and it is suppose to come with floor mats, rear rug and cargo net/first aid kit as part of the deal. This was not the original car that I had ordered. I had ordered a spectra blue mica pkg #4 2008 back in June and waited 6 months for it. When it came time to make a deal the original dealer could only get a pkg #5 car in New England. He said he would offer the pkg #5 car at the pkg#4 price. When he would not budge on price (msrp), I went elsewhere and got a decent deal and a pkg upgrade to pkg#6 for 100 below dealer invoice. I look forward to replacing my 95 Camry with 222,000 miles and no ac with a new car. |

Friends: 0 | fedman, is this a touring or a std prius? Either ways 26K+taxes looks like a good deal for a 2009 Prius with pkg 6. enjoy the green world |

Friends: 0 | Still, a pretty good deal! We got ours for about the same and they threw in XM for 1/2 the cost - this was in Virginia. Of course, we'll have yearly personal tax on it, but we're used to that. |
