Friends: 0 | Hello all. Well, I'm back in NY now after a month in Florida. There seems to be no 2009's around here to buy. The dealers have been selling them, and they seem to be selling for higher prices then I would have thought. I'm going to check more tomorrow and Tuesday, with both Rochester and Buffalo dealerships. Ideally, I'd like a Silver Pine Mica Pkg #3....but would consider others. At this point, I think I might just patiently wait to see a 2010....there are none yet around here that I know of. The local dealer does not expect one for at least another week or two. I still might buy down in Florida, where the taxes are cheaper and there are no annual car inspections. We plan on moving there in about 2-3 years, and at that time I'd have to buy Florida plates. The price on those are going up to over $360 this September.......if I have to pay that down the road, I might as well do it now for $100 and then have it forever. I thought there would be an abundance of awesome deals on 2009's but that just did not seem to happen. Perhaps the 2010's will prove to be my only option, and hopefully I'll be happy. Sometimes things have a way of working out. Frank D. |

Friends: 0 | Either way, 09 or 10 its a no lose deal, except maybe a few $$$. Whatever you get, enjoy the ride. I saw 10-15 '09s at the dealer in Pasadena (CA) sitting on a rooftop parking structure. I don't see any this week. Maybe the LA gas prices, $2.89 this weekend, are helping move them out. Happy hunting. |
