Friends: 0 | Hi all, Got a 2010 prius T4 as a company car and am totally in love with it! It's white with 17" alloys and it attracted a lot of female attention my way at the lights in town! My friends thought I was crazy for getting it, but they all want one too now after I took them for a spin and they realised its a lot quicker than they thought! Richard |

Friends: 5 | ![]() One of the best kept secrets - every company should make the Prius mandatory since they would save the companies thousands in maintenance, repair and fuel costs. Plus they're a great car to live with! |

Friends: 0 | Hi, This car just makes so much sense for me, I have been averaging 65mpg and has all the comfort of an executive mercedes or BMW! Plus the tax I have to pay is very low due to the low emissions. Also the styling is now cutting edge, in the past week I have had many people stop me and say "hey what car is that I really like it"! I am also an environmentally conscious person, having studied geography and now working as a town planner, so it feels good using as little fuel as possible (because I realise what a finite and valuable resourse it is). If we want to adapt as a civilisation we need to continue to evolve in our thinking and not get complacent and stuck in our ways. I'm now convinced that the future is hybrid and fully electric (or alternative) powered beyond! ZzoooM (p.s. the noise of a petrol engine is so overrated, pulling away silently is so much more satisfying) |

Friends: 0 | Hi Everyone, I have purchased my 2010 about a month ago. I already have 4300 miles on it and have a difficult time with it. In my case there are three (3) major problems with this vehicle: 1. I don't seem to want to stop driving it. Even if I've already finished my day, and there is nothing else for me to take care of, it's hard to park it and walk away from it. I feel that this is very dangerous, because i find myself just driving for no reason, burning additional gas, etc. 2. I feel that Toyota should offer a standard "Low Technology Package" in form of a 4"x4" window sticked posted at the upper left corner of the front windshield with a warning to read as follows: "In order to prevent running out of gas, please re-supply this vehicle with fuel once in awhile.". Since I have owned about 50 vehicles in my life so far, ranging from 10MPG to a whopping 20MPG in fuel economy, I feel that I am in constant danger of running out of fuel-getting stranded somewhere with the Prius, because I have to fill up so infrequently that I will one day forget to do that. 3. The third and final problem that I have so far discovered is that the car owner's manual did not come complete. It's missing the self-help section that should explain to me as a new owner, how in the world am I supposed to deal with the excitement and fun associated with owning and driving this thing. Not to mention the issue of the ability and/or the inability to hide the excitement from those who do not drive one, and don't understand. If you talk about your Prius the way I talk about mine, you know the looks you get from people, and you know you have to stop before they have you committed. I never thought of having these kinds of problems before I bought mine. Help Me! Please! Please forgive my sense of humor. It's an acquired taste. On a serious note, as a business owner I have a whole fleet of vehicles in service to customers. Also all my staff could benefit from having a company car. I am seriously considering this vehicle to be my choice of "company car" for my business. |
