Hi all,

Just collected our first hybrid, a 2006 Prius T-Spirit GENII. It's got a high mileage at 92,000 miles in only three years but has a full dealer service history with services every 10k from new until 90,000 miles.

Condition is immaculate and it looks as new both inside and out. As I have always wanted one I was really pleased to have finally secured this at a bargain price.

The only thing I was surprised to find was the Park Assist/Rear View Camera is not fitted to this. I'd thought that all T-Spirit's had it. I have a 2007 Prius brochure which suggested it was included but it seems that it may have been an option on 06 models.

Myself, I run PocketGPSWorld.com, a GPS website with news, reviews and forums etc dedicated to GPS. I wanted a T-Spirit so I could use the Toyota Nav as a comparison against the various units I test in the course of my work.

Brodit ProClips will now be fitted left and right of the steering wheel ready to install some GPS systems. I see I also now need to fit a 12v accessory socket as the UK spec models don't come with one other than in the centre console.

Really pleased to be a Prius owner, as a technology journalist I can't think of a better car, it is gadget heaven!

Hello Darren

I am also a UK Prius owner (a new one too!)
I have a 2004 T spirit, which although doesnt have the parking camara, it does have the parking sensors, Im sure yours should have these too?

There is a group on this site called UK owners.. Its not very busy but there are some nice people who may be able to help with any questions as well as everyone on the message boards.. (I find the UK group can someetimes help with UK based questions)

As im new im not too sure how to put a link in to the the group, but if you go to my profile it will show you the groups I am a member of (only one) and if you click the group it will take you straight there.

Welcome to the Prius, its a lovely car to drive isnt it!!
mine is in the garage but if you read on the group messages you will see why
