iDonna and I rode last year (team of two) in an MS ride but we had a lot of fun anyway.

If there is enough interest, I will be happy to coordinate something, but we really need more people involved to make it work.

What about a Prius Cruise to the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival on Sunday September 28th? Parking there is pretty bad so it may be hard to all meet up at the same place, but it's a fun event.

Well the Prius Cycling Team is NOT a racing team.
We just ride for fun and adventure!

If anyone is seriously interested please post to this thread.

Hey, I'm in Vegas and the OC. A team would be cool. One for riding and maybe a set for competing in races, something for everybody. Great rides in the OC, a little hot in Vegas. who's running this. If no one is drop me a line and maybe I can start a Yahoo group or something.

Exclamation Re: Prius Cycling Team

Hmmm - I had not thought about a "national" team, but that's not a bad idea - larger number of riders means larger discount on custom jerseys, etc. Of course there is not way for all to ride together due to logistics, but mayne a national team would work.

If that is the case, then I propose that we ask Danny to set up a separate forum for the "Prius Cycling Team" and we use that instead of yahoo or other competing website.

What does everyone else think? If you like the idea, please ask Danny to set it up and then start posting. The 2008 season is almost over!

Rand

BTW: I'm never "running" anything - just setting a date a time and see if people show up or not.

I would love to purchase a PriusChat cycling jersey. I live too far away to join the team, unless we can get a Pacific Northwest team started???

Also - we are ordering custom "Priuschat" cycling jerseys (design is still a work in progress) - would you be interested in buying one?

Its 4 months since that spill, will probable finish physical threapy for my broken arm this week, I still wear a divise in my mouth at night for my jaw.. I am also in physical therapy for my neck. The chiropractor was not improving it. They took the cast off at 12 days, and said just use the sling and be careful. No cast because for every day you keep it in a cast it increses the time in threapy a week. It was my right(primary) arm. After just 12 days and removing the cast i could see a big differance in size. They tested my strenght (grip) at about 2 1/2 months and it was still about 50% of my none primary hand. Tested last week and its 90% of my left arm. It should be 15% greater. Getting close. Suing those S.O.B.s construction company for dropping that stuff in the street.
