Oh man, the chicken and steak kabob's were great. I really am not a fan of fish but my guests loved the mahi mahi as well. And their 'sauces' for each were 'off the hook'. I loved the sweet yet spicy tomato sauce for the steak as well as the pesto for the chicken.

To me, some of the problems with the Sirloin Beef gourmet sliders were:

1. As a general matter, in the United States you should avoid foods and places that self-proclaim themselves as "gourmet" --- as they rarely are.

2. They were too dry and didn't "slide" one bit -- not enough fat, juice or other moisture. Sirloin is a very lean cut of beef. It doesn't make for a very good steak, nor a very good hamburger unless it's mixed with fatter cuts of beef like chuck (or in some real gourmet places, hanging tender).

3. They were too big and overcooked, which exacerbated the problem of the very dry and lean beef because it made it harder to mitigate or balance that big hunk of dryness with onions, tomatoes or condiments.

Now, White Castle on the other hand ... they're moist, they slide and have perfectly balanced flavors ... the taste you crave!

Please don't be offended Wayne after we went so far to get them but White Castle burgers taste like shit. Sorry but for my taste I preferred the little burgers at the Monday night event! I only had the red meat ones. My build says I am lying but I much prefer lean meat, that's why I like roo meat.

Maybe that's why Aussies haven't embraced grain fed beef.

I'd love for Toyota to invite us to an Aussie showing of the Prius! Great way to see the car again and finally make it to Australia, probably the only way I'd get to go anytime soon

Barbara, thanks for the pix. I signed up for the Platinum Blonde edition and got Keely. Stephanie at the Gold package & Natay at the Platinum were also great. The place was a tad hard to find as there wasn't any signage but it was a great party. So many questions, so little time.

Haha, same here. We got there VERY early... I must have walked by it 3 times since it didnt say skylight anywhere and the address plaque was so tiny I just kept missing it.

Funny thing was when I asked the guy outside if this was where the Toyota show was for the Prius he was like "oh, you've got another car to bring in? Here' I'll open the doors and drive it in, someone will guide you" Lol
