New owner. Seeking installation advice for stereo mod

Hello everyone.

I just picked up my 2008 Magnetic Gray Prius (Option 2) this past weekend. I can't even describe how in love with this car I am. I live in Brooklyn but there doesn't seem to be a Prius group for that area so please allow me to impose in the Long Island club.

I was wondering if any of you have the VAIS SL2i SoundLinQ2 for your stereo? If so, do you like it? I am trying to modify my current stereo (no NAV, just the JBL factory system) so that I can use my iPod and/or iPhone with the dashboard monitor. I've perused the main forums, but most comments are for people with 2005s and 2006 Prius'.

At the very least, is there an auto audio shop in the area that anyone would recommend? I'm not looking to spend a ton, so I'd prefer to find a shop that isn't going to trick me into anything that I don't need.

Mods..... the Vais came with instructions for installation and are easy to fallow; in our LIPOG.ORG website you will find information on our monthly meets and some times we have an "installation days" for the newest acquired accessories. We help each other to make these a successful install.
