Hello from the mountains of Colorado!

Date Ordered: 10/27/03
Received: 11/30/03
Dealer Ordered From: Stevinson Toyota West - Golden Colo.
Timeframe given for delivery: At first March 04, then 4 - 6 weeks
Color: Seaside Pearl
Option Package: BC (#9)
Your # on Dealer's Waiting List: Never mentioned

Paid $200 less than MSRP.

So far I have logged over 1000 miles, mostly driving the to and from the hills, and have averaged 38 mpg.

Great Car!! (Sure beats the VW Passat we have.)

Apparently, Colorado is the place to go to get your vehicle quickly...

I have been interested in getting a Prius, but the dealers in Dallas couldn't give me any info. on how they performed in the mountains. How does your car perform on steep grades? I drove my standard Ford Contour a couple of years ago to Aspen and felt like I was really pushing it to go 55. Other cars (SUV's) were passing us like we were standing still. I didn't like the feeling that I couldn't get out of the way if I needed to.

Let's hope! I just ordered mine from Burt Toyota in Littleton, CO, and I was told 4-6 months. Oh well... more time to save for a down payment, i guess!
