I ordered a Pine Mica #3 on Saturday, May 20th from Power Toyota in Cerritos. Per the fleet manager, it should be here in 4-6 weeks. We shall see.

Have you gotten a chance to see the Silver Pine Mica in person? I've found relatively few decent photos of that color around, and it seems to look very different in different lighting (in photos at least), the rest I've seen look like lousy camera phone photos.

We ended up ordering a Driftwood Pearl earlier this week from a dealer in Chicago who quoted us a much better wait time (and price) than those in Colorado (4-6 months??). It's too bad that more dealers don't have any sort of inventory or stock flow of Priuses so we can see what we're buying before it arrives. I haven't seen a green in the area, even. We ended up going with the Driftwood as we live two miles back on a dirt/gravel road with orange colored Colorado dirt

Someone should put up a site with good quality photos of each color for each model year so people have an idea what to expect! I'd be happy to, if I could find decent photos from enough people.

It is funny actually. Toyota uses the green color in their tv ads and in their brochures, but the green is hard to find. I lucked into getting one the same day as I went in to do the deposit. I've only seen one or two others on the road. It makes me feel unique. And as they say, "Be unique, the world needs more niques."

I have seen the Silver Pine Mica in person and both my wife and I love the color. The green color just looks...environmental? to us. ToyotaNation.com has some decent large pictures.

It is weird that the Pine color seems to be somewhat rare.

Yes, it is a nice color. Afterall if you are going to drive green, you should be green right? Anyway, they call it Silver Pine Mica. In certain lighting it does look somewhat silver.

My wife and I purchased a silver pine mica in January. We saw the color on an Avalon the dealer had on the lot. Looked really nice. The problem is that some models look better than others in a particular color. The bottom line was we did not see the silver pine mica on a prius until ours came in. We are very pleased with the color and have gotten numerous compliments. It is very easy to keep clean and doesnt show the little scratch marks or swirls. We totally love the color and love the car even more. We had the clear bra installed, the BT stiffening plate, vent visors, and side body moldings. The side body moldings really set the car off plus offer protection. I also installed mud guards for added protection. We live in Pottsville PA and have only seen one other silver pine mica. Ours is a package 6. I"m sure that you will be as happy as we were with our choice. Ports

I ordered my Silver Pine Mica #4 in January. Yesterday I actually saw the car its finally here. I ordered the XM radio for it yesterday too. I have only seen two others on the road none in my area. It seems strange there aren't more around since it is the color on the Prius brochure for 2006. Looks like a great color, I do think side mouldings will be in order to help protect and give the sides a little style.

Good luck on your purchase, I am looking forward to mine.
