My Car: 2002 Prius Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 |  6 month wait for 2008 / 2009 prius I just ordered a Prius yesterday (5/29/08) and it will be 5-6 mos before it arrives. We waited too long to order... The sales person said it will likely be a 2009 model which is the same as the 2008. This will be our second - we got our first in Dec 2001. It has 160,000 miles on it and still going strong. My husband and I just have to work out who gets to be the primary driver on the new one. We'll have lots of time to decide.  |

They are actually holding my order until they can formally process it (supposedly 06/08/08 or 06/10/08). I opted to wait the few extra weeks to order the 09' for future resale value for when I upgrade to the Gen lll when it comes out in 2010/11.  |

I hope for the reasons you mentioned that we end with a 2009. I'm really interesed in moving up to the gen III too. |

My '08 with pkg. 2 will be arriving on June 10th. That's about a 6 week wait. I'm pleased. Good luck to all of you -- good things come to those who wait! |

My dealer told me maybe august, probably september and that I will likely get an 09 version. Waiting is the difficult part *Sigh* |
