Seattle Mitsubishi

If you think waiting for a Prius sucks, be glad you didnt go buy a car without waiting from Seattle Misubishi.

There was a news story on the local news about people who had recently purchased a vehicle from Seattle Mitsubishi. it appears that if a customer traded in a car that still had money owed on it, they were getting stuck with 2 car payments.

The dealer if they take a car in trade is supposed to pay off the lien on the car they take over, but Seattle Mitsubishi wasnt doing it. then the new car owners were getting notices that they still owed money on their existing car loan for their old trade in.

in fact the finance manager for Seattle Mitsubishi got so fed up with the owner, he quit. Yesterday, the business closed its doors which only made it that much tougher for people who were screwed over to get some sort of resolution.

of course, the way they were doing business, i suspect that the attorney general would have shut them down soon enough anyway.
