Friends: 23 | ok so this morning, I had a heart attack (figuratively). My smartie, which was parked straight into the usual parking spot was moved and parked diagonally in the same spot. Last night, there was a full-size pickup truck next to me so I suppose the smart***** decided that if they tilt the vehicle, I wouldn't be able to get out in the morning. Unfortunately, the security camera didn't catch the perpetraitors because the truck was large enough to hide my vehicle behind it. Grrr..... On another note, the last tank was 6.61L/100km mostly city. |

Friends: 23 | well I don't think it's the pickup driver's fault. I don't think he'd moved the car for fun. I'm sure it's the other young beer-drinking stupid-headed "kids" that did it. (and there are a good number in the few units here) miscrms, np. |

Friends: 23 | Well the vandals were at it again the night before. This time, they moved it 90° to the left. It was all caught on camera and because they're guests of the residence, the security (and the police) have all their contact information. No charges will be laid since I have no damage incurred (at least physical damage). We decided the best course of action is to catch them in the act rather than come a-knocking at their door. Therefore, my car is now back out in the same spot as bait. On a happier note, the low fuel light came on today. Refuelled it at $1.45/litre... 6.04L/100km avg.

Friends: 23 | and here's someone's real life account of a 65mph crash Personal "Crash Test" - Smart Car of America Forums It rolled 3 times according to the official police report but you'd never know just looking at the pictures. The car was hit in the rear passenger side (which might explain the busted rim) |

Friends: 12 | In your case, I wouldn't trust myself. I would have beaten the living s*** out of them by now Reminds me of an incident in St George UT I witnessed in the early 1990's. Some punks with Alberta plates were acting pretty smart at a Chevron station. They cut off an older fellow driving a K car, remember K cars? The older fellow had finished gassing up and asked the punks to move their car, as he was boxed in. So they had the balls to threaten him. I was going to intervene when the old fellow pulled a Beretta on them Well, the tough punks suddenly turned into pussies. They ran into the station and were dumb enough to call the cops. Both a Utah Highway Patrol cruiser and a St G cruiser screamed up within 5 mins The cops took statements from the ALberta punks/cowards, the elderly gentlemen - oops also a retired UHP officer - and a few bystanders, including Yours Truly still in his camo fatigues The cop then told the Alberta punks "that gentleman had every right to blow your f***ing brains out for saying that. Get out of my city" They *very* quietly and very carefully got back into their car and drove off. I bet they had a good story for back home, about the bad Americans and their evil guns

Friends: 12 | Well, those punks were obviously a hamburger short of a Happy Meal, not very bright. You'd think it was common knowledge in places like Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah a lot of folks will legally carry concealed. Or that Utah was the original "Make My Day" state with regards to being allowed to use terminal force to defend life and property I was still enlisted, here I am standing at the gas pump - in my fatigues - and what, they thought I was going duck hunting in August? Anyhoo it was good for a laugh. I'm sure they s*** themselves when that old guy whipped out the Beretta. Personally I prefer the Glock 22, but whatever works |
