The aim has to be to get the car into as many hands as possible. Toyota has made quite a big bet on hybrids. | |

Friends: 19 | Sorry, Danny, but I just couldn't make the choice between the two options. I don't expect to be "Happy" only because it will be a difficult time to buy a new car, regardless of pricing. I may be "Disappointed," but I don't think I will be, because I expect the Toyota pricing to be pretty fair and competitive. I could be "Discouraged" or "Dis-heartened" -- this would be if I felt Toyota was gouging. I doubt this will happen, though I suspect Toyota will be pressed hard to get a low price on the II, only to produce few and charge big bucks on the IV and V -- particularly those with the two big packages. I'm just trying to remain calm in advance of the big day . . .

Friends: 0 | I want the 17" wheels and they only come with all the tech features, so I expect the loaded up Prius to be pretty pricy overall ... I'm thinking at least $33,000 |

Friends: 2 | How about neither? I don't intend to buy a 2010 Prius so the price has no effect on my life. I will be interested to see if I was right in my prediction for what a standard model will cost so really my interest is just ideal curiosity. Happy or disappointed are much too strong of descriptors. |

Friends: 19 | For me, I think the price will be good, but the recent drop in value of my current Prius will undermine any deal that Toyota can make on the 2010. For that reason I believe the 2010 pricing will be disappointing. Tom |

Friends: 82 | I am in the same boat as Tom but voted for Happy. I predict the 2010 price will be lower than a comparable 2009 (based on the Japanese pricing). I am happy if the 2010 price is lower but my trade-in value for my 06 will be lower. |

Friends: 20 | My 1st gen value has declined significantly as well, though is really close to the 2004 value due to the "low miles". |
