Oooooh, Tundra and Odyssey, four out of four best truck/best van values? Malorn won't be happy. Ford did cop one, though.

Huh? Corolla is a compact, Prius a midsize. Try a midsize like Camry:

http://www.intellichoice.com/reports/compa...&model=0&trim=0

Then throw in the $3100 tax credit for the Prius.

Huh? Corolla is a compact, Prius a midsize. Try another midsize like Camry:

Then throw in the $3100 tax credit for the Prius. Plus, they are looking at "value", not just price.

I'm not trying to compare the two cars -- don't get ruffled

I just added up the items in the list, and the sum seems wrong. AFAIK, they do not take tax breaks into account.

The sum of the cost of ownership categories for the Prius is $3150 more than the total listed at the bottom. I guess they didn't have a category for tax breaks, though you could make an argument that it should be subtracted from depreciation as it lowers the net cost of buying the new car.
