When I'm down to 3 bars or less on my gas gauge and I park my car in my drive which has a slight incline, the gauge goes back to read full after being parked overnight. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, were they able to get it fixed?

Wow, that is a strange one. I too park on an incline and have never had that issue.

Does it resolve after you drive a little?

Problem? I'd like to have that problem! So as long as you don't use a full tank during the day and park it there overnight, you never have to buy gas? :P

I'm joking. Seriously though, many cars measure the tank fill level in front of or behind the center of the tank, in which case the readings are less reliable on inclines. This may be part of the reason that most fuel gauges show time averaged rather than instantaneous readings - to prevent the fuel gauge from moving with braking, acceleration, and driving over inclines. (Ever notice how some cars don't show a full tank until you've driven away from the gas station where you filled up?) The difference you observe is truly impressive for a slight incline.
