Of course, they talk about the new EPA ratings and the drop for hybrids but fail to mention the ratings also went down for all other vehicles.

Stocking green cars may not translate into much extra green for dealers.
Dryer & Dryer Volvo in Chamblee, Ga., had a couple of hybrids on its used-car lot in the past few months. While they're hyped as the hottest vehicles on the market, Dryer staff found them to be slow movers.

When I got my Mini Cooper there was a 5-month wait at most dealers with a 2-5k mark up in some areas were the dealer was the only one is huge area. They had plenty of normal Mini’s but the S with all the sport stuff were almost impossible to get of the lot because the production of the supercharger was delayed or something to that affect. I see about the same more Minis on the road and more on the lot at the Mini dealer by the Toyota service department. When the Toyota FJ Cruiser came out they had non on the lot now they have 2-4. The ford suvs used to not stay on the lot when they first came out.

When the Play Station 3 and X-Box 360 (video game systems) first came out no store had them in stock now and the PS3 was on ebay for as much as 4k (normal price $500-600) when it first caem out. I can go buy one right now if I wanted.

My point is when the manufacturer has to make the manufacturing process efficient to meet consumer demand. I have heard that the prius sales are actually up from a wile ago. So basically what this means is Toyota has caught up with the manufacturing process. I bet if you look back about 1 year at Toyotas manufacturing numbers per month you will find they manufacture more a month now then when they first started.

Yes. Per http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2...03/042379.html, Prius sales for March 07 were up 133% compared to March 06. They're also up 74.7% YTD.

What do expect from a shill of the American car manufacturers. Every article he has ever written about the Prius has been negative in one way or the other. His facts are always slanted against the Prius.

Not true, I bought all 3 to sell on ebay. The PS3 averaged from 900 - 1500 (first week), a few weeks before christmas it was losing money. The 260 would sell for about 1000. The Wii on the other hand was a cheaper investment, and sold for about 450 on ebay consistently...Both of the PS3 and Wii suck right now, but the Wii is the bigger rip off, you're paying $250 for a Gamecube with an inaccurate remote.

Mr Spinella's epitaph should be Dust to Dust to cheer up people that visit his cemetary.

Unless he wants his remains creamated, then I'd suggested the Keith Richards way of disposal.

Some of the ps3 were selling for as high as 4k on ebay. If you do not believe me you can go to cnet.com the buzz out loud pod cast and search through their archives they mention the ps3 selling for like 3800 and another was just over or around 4k. I am not going to listen to every pod cast to find the one but you can. Obviously you can’t go to ebay and look an auctions that old. I went to the auction just to look at the price when cnet net talked about it and it was very close to 4k.

If you were lucky enough to pre-order one and actually stood in line for hours to get them and in the first week only sold you ps3 for 1k im sorry because I remember seeing them in the 1500 and up range the very first week. Oh and I cant remember the exact number but you had to have a rather high seller rating to sell the ps3 on ebay because they were afraid people would get ripped off.

The Wii is selling like hotcakes even if it is a POS people are buying them.

Nope. You only needed a 60 feedback to sell the pre-orders, which sold well. As long as you had the physical console and a picture of it and your receipt, you could sell on ebay. I remember the PS3s selling for 3000, and one for 10,000 on ebay, but did those guys actually get paid? No. There were tons of fake accounts making ridiculous bids to screw over the seller (it happened to me on the last PS3 I was trying to sell). The $3,000 ones, i'm sure a few sold for that price, but most of them sold for no more than 1,800. Trust me, my girlfriend works at Gamestop (how I managed to get 1, plus I waited in line for 6 hours to pre-order from a store that got robbed!, plus another camp out at Best Buy). I follow these things, I don't mind ripping off some rich mom to spoil her over privleged kid.

Hey who cars if people to pay for the thing. I don’t have any of the new consoles manly because I am not going to 600for a game system that requires me to buy a $40-$100 cable to hook it up to my TV. I know it looks good with the component cable but to get what you paid for you need the HDMI cable imho. If some mom wants to buy the thing for more than it is worth and then pay $60 a game and then get the kid an HDTV to go with it let her.

Hehe, sorry to beat a dead horse, but component cables look just as good, if not sometimes better, than HDMI. HDMI is just for the convenience of having audio and video go through one signal. Plus you can get an HDMI cable for $10. Don't buy into the Monster bull that Best Buy tells you...if it's a digital connection, it either works or doesn't, there's no difference in quality for the price of a digital cable.
