Two interesting videos with battery companies 'higher ups' and a professor discussing the progression towards lithium ion batteries.

Kinda long but worth watch..

Can someone sum up for those who can't watch videos at work?

Basic sum up:

An open panel discussion about Lithium-Ion batteries, there problems, their potential, what people are doing with it, etc. Not a bad little watch.

Just off the top of my mind they address the heat/fire issue, why we don't have them RIGHT NOW, costs associated with them, etc.
