For those of you living in the greater Los Angeles Area, this expo is FREE:

Altairnano will again exhibit its battery technology, along with Phoenix Motorcars, at the groundbreaking Alternative Energy and Transportation Expo , sponsored and hosted by the city of Santa Monica, Calif. The expo is on Friday and Saturday, October 19 and 20. There will be a stationary Phoenix Motorcars electric SUT in the booth.

The expo will be at Barker Hanger at the Santa Monica Air Center, 3021 Airport Avenue, Santa Monica. Doors are open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. Go to www.altcarexpo.com for more information.

On-site car conversion: During the event, Left Coast Conversions will replace the internal combustion engine of a 70s era, Triumph with lithium polymer batteries for a range of over 200 miles. California Air Resources Board will sign off on the conversion
