I did it! I've won my first trophy ever in auto racing. Sure, it had nothing to do with my speed, let alone my driving skills, but I'm extremely proud nonetheless. Indeed, over the last weekend, I had the honor to win, together with my colleague and long-time racer Bertrand Godin, the inaugural Laurentian Alternative Energy Rally, an international event that made its North American debut.

As the name suggests, this competition was not about performance and drifting through corners. Instead, the focus was on regularity and fuel economy. The latter is probably the one thing that created the most headaches...

Congratulations!

I was just recently thinking about how cool it would be to try and setup an event like this! I love WRC, but this definitely gets back a little more towards rally in the historical sense.

Just to add some comments, about the cleanova, it is not a megane but a kangoo, very different vehicle, and Renault has nothing to do with it, the maker is Dassault in partnership with Heuliez, dassault made the electric/electronic part and Heuliez is specialized in adaptation in the car.
Those are advanced prototypes, but very close to the production version...

Not everybody follows that format, and then when the part you quote starts with "I", isn't indented or quoted, and no explanation afterwards that it was a quote, you can see how it was easy for people to become confused.
