The Toyota Matrix is a perfect example of what not to do. The old one looks good and I see thousands of them on the road. The new one ... the exact opposite. . Last edited by Rybold; 07-30-2008 at 06:44 PM. | |

My Car: 2005 Prius Package: #4 Nominated 4 Times in 1 Post TOTM Awards: 1Friends: 0 | This is NOT the 2008 / 2009. The wheels are different and the antenna pod on the top is different. The nose angle is sharper in these pics. It definitely looks wider as well. |

My Car: 2007 Prius Package: #2 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | It IS a Gen-II. Take a look at the front-quarter shot-- They used a very thin fabric to cover the intake, and you can see it's a Gen-II hood with the bump in the middle where the Toyota emblem is mounted and the Gen-II smiley grille. The front hood looked more sloped because they used cardboard to cover it up all the way past the windshield wiper recess at the base of the windshield. You can change the wheels easy, and it's even easier to change the antenna-- Priuschat sells a sharkfin antenna replacement. |
