Friends: 0 | I can see it being a lane departure system.. having a night vision view system would surely need the display to be infront of the driver like the Crown.. Last edited by Dozzer; 10-21-2008 at 07:14 AM. |

I thought at first that this was a type of safety info device but I thought that it was a 'droopy head or eye' sensor for the driver. But after the pics you found of the Crown hybrid I definitely think it is a nighttime driving assist that can be displayed on the MFD. | |

Friends: 37 | The other cool feature the crown has that I could see making it's way to the prius is the noise-cancelling stereo system. |

What happened to ergonomics?? - I LIKE that I don't have to drop my eyes very far off the road to see the current Prius 'gauges'. It is SAFER and EASIER - I LIKE that I don't have to look through the steering wheel and my hands to see the 'gauges'. It is SAFER and EASIER - I LIKE that I don't have as much near/far focal change to see the 'gauges' AND they don't land in the lower 'reading' part of my multifocal lenses. It is SAFER and EASIER

Friends: 1 | Night vision would be good, I'd rather see the deer WAY earlier than "Just missed". And then there are the bicyclists that have no lights, talk about dangerous! What happens to the Night Vision camera when there is a car coming toward you? - Is the visible light not 'seen' by the NV camera so you don't end up with a blinding white light? - Do you see the people in the other car? |

Friends: 37 | Hmm... is this it in this spy photo just to the left of the driver's sun visor? (linked due to size of image): Black Camo European Spy Shot 1 - PriusChat
