You assume that Bossdowner's "leaks" are not part of their viral marketing campaign. They may not be, but I wouldn't be at all surprised. Cool stuff, regardless though

No, I don't get it. Solar panel won't work in cloudy weather. So, what else is there to get?

you think they would just buy off the shelf design from someone? Prius would have never been created that way :-).

I would not be suprised whatsoever if they create JV with someone for solar cells, Honda already produces solar panels for outdoor use in Japan.... Maybe Toyota will follow?

solar panels DO work when its cloudy
just not a lot of power.

Ok, I got it.... they were hinting that the pic is solar panel by mentioning about the cloudy weather.

FWD, you are right... solar panels should work off the street lamps at night too. Park near under the lamp!!
