Hummer Drivers Get More Tickets. A Lot More. Figures.

The worst part is that if an H2 hits someone, they're a hell of a lot more likely to maim or kill someone than if they went the same speed in a medium sized (3100 - 3600 lb. car) due to their high curb weight.

The H2's curb weight is now an INSANE 6614 lbs. (was only 6400 lbs a few years ago).

Kinetic energy = 1/2 * mass * velocity^2

I'm not so surprised about the tC and xB. It definitely is almost all young drivers.

Don't just worry about the mass of the oversized things, what about the two oversized tow eyes which would be illegal for any manufacturer to put on any production passenger car because they are a hazard to pedestrians!!

Right at knee height too, perfect!

A well designed car puts a pedestrian up on the bonnet away from the tyres if they hit a pedestrian, these stupid things put them on the ground in front of those moster tyres after tearing out the kneecaps. Gotta make sure they can't scamble out the way.
