This is really exciting to hear... I love my iPhone... but I'll have to stick with the AUX jack in the 09... no biggie.

And this is just the 2010? I'm not a Bluetooth genius. What's different about the 2010 Bluetooth in comparison to the G2 Bluetooth?

While I know iPhone 3.0 is capable of sending a Bluetooth music stream, is the 2010 Prius really capable of receiving it? I'd be a tad surprised, if so, as I've never seen such capabilities in a car up till now.

It wouldn't matter for me, however. I have a Kensington LiquidAux that lets me connect my iPhone to a dock connector, so charge it, play music (including Pandora) over the stereo, and also control the iPhone from a remote control attached to my steering wheel.

Such a remote control is vital to me, since the lack of physical button on the iPhone make it hazardous to navigate music while driving.

Yes, that is one of the new gadgets in the 2010 (with the bluetooth option, that is).

I wouldn't get my hopes too high. Every time I have tried A2DP it has resulted in unacceptable sound quality degradation. It might be ok for podcasts but is just not enough for music even on the Prius.
