The technical details of the details:

Toyota Vehicles : Toyota Prius Aerius and Aemulus / Toyota

Quote:
. . .
TOYOTA PRIUS AERIUS FEATURES

  • Swift Engineering: CFD aerodynamic testing of body kit

  • Ultrafabrics: polyurethane seat bolster and back
  • 3Form: eco-recycled resin interior accents
  • 3M Crystalline Automotive Window Film to reduce solar rays and produce energy savings*
  • Pioneer: 900-watt 10 speaker audio system*
  • Vizualogic: 7-inch DVD headrest rear entertainment units
  • Car Planet: eco-sensitive car detailing kit*
* Also on Prius Aemulus. Aemulus includes a Pioneer 700-watt nine speaker audio system.
This is just a listing of mods but buried in the text:
Quote:
. . .
Built on two third-generation 2010 Prius, Five Axis Design created a four-piece Aero Kit . . . The kit includes a front lip spoiler, side skirts, and a rear lower valance. The Aero Kit was designed and aerodynamically tested by using state-of-the-art Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software by Swift Engineering to ensure the kit maintained the Prius’ remarkable 0.25 coefficient of drag.
What 'looks good' does not always perform good. Given the current aero underbody, it would be hard to make a significant improvement here.

. . .

The Prius Aerius Show Car rides on Yokohama Super E-Spec™ low rolling resistance tires . . . The special tires are mounted to unique Five Axis, FIVE:AD S6:F 19-inch wheels, with smooth, clear covers that reduce the coefficient of drag. . . .
Hummm, "smooth, clear covers," I wonder what they go for? Can we get them in 15"?
Quote:

The side and rear glass on both vehicles receive a Crystalline Automotive Window Film, the latest in window film technology from 3M. The special window treatment increases passenger comfort and energy savings by blocking 99.9 percent of UV light and has a SPF rating equivalent to well over 1,000.
. . .
I've never cared for window tinting applied at the port of entry but the 3M "Crystalline Automotive Window Film" sounds very interesting. We don't need UV in the cabin. I carry SPF 30 sunscreen in my car.
