I've always thought the first generation Prius was not the most beautiful car, as shown by this picture:  The 2nd generation and current models does look a bit unusual, but then, the vehicle was designed for the lowest aerodynamic drag possible, hence the jellybean-like hatchback design. |

They are distinctive, easy to spot. Went to Tuscon this w/e w/SIL to see his wife/my daughter and we would see them 3=4 at a time then a few scattered here and there. The Prius has entered the mainstream. It is no longer a unique sighting, at least not here in the southwest. It continues to generate controversy though as no other car has done. |
