However, you first need to go to the CA DMV website and download and complete form REG 1000 (rev. 8/2005) DFM Application for Clean Air Vehicle Stickers, pay the $8.00 sticker fee and also include a copy of your FasTrax account billing sheet in certain CA counties. I downloaded the app., wrote the check and included the FasTrax document and it is in the mail today! I am very happy about this finally happening. |

They said it would be 1-2 weeks to get a sticker. I can't wait, it will cut my commute in 1/2. |

I still plan to get the sticker since driving on 101 is a bear. But can't you mail in the application? You don't need to go to DMV in person, right? Once you get the sticker, can you drive in the HOV lanes right away? |

If you cross a bridge (even in the carpool lane) with 1 person, you still have to pay the bridge toll. Yes, you can mail the application in, I just wanted to make sure the DMV received it, and I had a copy of the receipt from them. My commute involves 880 south, 237 west and 101 north. |

I want a break on my car registration every year! I also want free parking at city meters. Los Angeles has it. Make it throughout the state! | |
