Acronyms and Abbreviations Glossary

Couple additions on the hybrid front:

FEH = Ford Explorer Hybrid
HyCam = Hybrid Camry
HyHi = Hybrid Highlander (or is is HiHy?)
TCH = Toyota Camry Hybrid (see HyCam)

HCH (Honda Civic Hybrid) was already mentioned.

FAS = Forced Auto-Stop, term used by hypermilers for turning off a car at lights, etc. to simulate a full hybrid
ICE = Internal Combustion Engine (any gas/petrol/diesel engine)
LRR = Low Rolling Resistance (tires)

I've seen OP here (Original Poster, for the thread in question) but not so much on other chat boards.
And somehow we missed PC = PriusChat! (and PC'er for Prius Chatter/member)

And for FHOP (Fred's House of Pancakes, the forum for off-topic threads):
AGW = anthropogenic (human-caused) global warming
GHG = green-house gases
GWG = global warming gases

If you're looking at televisions, it stands for Picture in Picture.

I think you mean the little squares for the gas gauge, which are often referred to here as 'pips'.

you mean its not an abbreviation? if not I don't get why its a pip then i always referred to them as bars or cells..

Thanks Prius.Chat but I am alredy member of mitoyotaprius.mforos.com in Spain and of course in Spanish.
Just telling you that I am a very recent Prius owner, less than one month, but I am enjoying it as "a kid with new shoes", as we say in Spain.
