My family is planning a trip to California in July and I was wondering where can I rent a Prius in the Long Beach/Anaheim area. So far, fox rent-a-car and Toyota dealers are the only places I have been able to find. The best would be someplace at the Long Beach airport. I figured that it would qualify as my extended test drive since I'll be buying later this year (most likely used). If there's no chance to rent one in California, I'll just rent one from the dealer here.

Cabe Toyota in Long Beach has a rental program, I don't know if you are looking for an extended rental, I think they pffer something more in line of a day or so for test drives.

Because I'll be in California for a little less than two weeks, it will certainly be a long term rental. I also wanted to avoid using a dealer becuase I don't really feel like have a sales pitch on vacation (I'll get my Prius in Florida) and it wouldn't feel right renting from a dealer for that long when I wouldn't be buying from that dealer. Although, driving a Prius form CA to FL would be really fun, I just don't have enough time to do that.
