My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 |  I would like to know if I will need to have my 2005 Prius Smog checked when I renew my car tags in California because of it being a hybrid. In California we need to have cars smog checked every 2 years. I hope not. |

My Car: 2005 Prius Package: #6 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | According to the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair the Prius is exempt from the smog check until January 1, 2010. |
