Is there a way to get more map data into the system?? Like some sequence of key presses, then feed some data through the cd player??? (Probally not - that would have made too much sense. ) For the life of me I don't know why they put such a powerful computer in a car, but only go 1/2 way with it's features. It should have a standard usb plug for uploading/downloading information to laptops and palmtops. You should be able to have a much larger selection of icons and the ability to add custom icons. There should be a way to program additional display screens and voice commands. |

I wish I could upload new POI data as phone numbers change, and stores come and go. No dice. One thing to check is that you are in the right region, other than that, "what you see is what you get." |

Two words: "Revenue Stream" They (the Nav System Manufacturer) wants you needing new DVD's, and wants you buying new DVD's. It's a big part of their income... -Ken |

When I updated my Odyssey's NAVi DVD, it came with tons of local routes in rural areas. It made the searching much slower (and it shows). It made me wonder, could I have the option of not having them?! Anyway, the only way I know is to "wait for new release"... A popular term in software industry. ![]() |
