"EV Mode can not be Enabled Now"

When I attempted to engage the EV today, coasting up to a long red light, a banner appeared at the top of the MFD that left me know it couldn't be enabled (I guess it was still in the warm-up mode). Do the 2004 and 2005 models say that too? I don't remember ever hearing someone mention it.

I have '06 with package #1 and I don't get the screen.

That makes sense. I guess it's only on the hi-res displays which come on packages with the (NTSC) backup camera.

Us 2006 owners have other problems to deal with, like not knowing how to defeat the nav lockout and other function lockouts... So count your blessings. :-)
