A quick peak at the Sierra Summit web site shows that Toyota is their "official vehicle".  Now, a feller might mention that ugly-hybrid thing to Toyota's advertising dept.

Now THAT is a spectacular idea...

Yea, good idea. They have a cool "wrapped" Tacoma- looks good!

EDIT:
They also have a Dodge Ram that is the "official" vehicle haha

Hahaha...

And no offense to Republicans, it's just that the central valley has been found to be very backwards- and in a recent study they found that the community is going backwards as far as acceptance to change, such as gay rights, or any new ideas. SAD! I would have thought with the huge population growth from more liberal areas it would be improving!

California's Great Central Valley isn't so much "backwards," but more properly, the entire Valley from Bakersfield to Redding is provincial. The Valley has been isolated and corporate farm based. This is changing with people moving in from the outside, education levels going up and access to information other than one AM station and one newspaper.

Sierra Summit operates in isolation and is always shy of taking a holistic perspective on anything. It is amazing how people see themselves as "conservative," (but in fact are provincial) and are largely tied to fast-food chains and corporate industrial agriculture. Anything new and different is suspect, not just hybrid vehicles.
