Bad advertising

There is a local Ski resort to where I live, and they have been running a new ad compaign that is disrespectful to our community here!

I guess they are trying to get people to stay local vs going to Tahoe or something, it says " SAVE GAS, COME TO .... AND YOU WONT HAVE TO DRIVE ONE OF THOSE UGLY HYBRIDS"

Hmm, doesn't sound like a great way to make friends! Although, the central Valley is primarily conservative, backwards, Chevy truck driving rednecks, so they probably feel safe HAHAHA

Im a Conservative Republican that drives a Hybrid in florida Hmm I guess I would be a Conservative Cracker then..

But I get what your saying that would p*** me off to see an ad like that.. lol I'd just say they lost my business do to the ad..

" HEY Y'ALL SAVE GAS, COME TO .... BRING ALL YER YOUNGINS AND YER ATV'S TOO! WE CASH WELFARE CHECKS!...AND YOU WONT HAVE TO DRIVE ONE OF THEM THAR UGLY HYBRIDS"

Hahaha...

And no offense to Republicans, it's just that the central valley has been found to be very backwards- and in a recent study they found that the community is going backwards as far as acceptance to change, such as gay rights, or any new ideas. SAD! I would have thought with the huge population growth from more liberal areas it would be improving!

It happens. Wasn't there a print ad for Dodge that said, "The Dodge Hybrid...Burns both gas and rubber?"

Would you mind posting which ski resort this is? I personally don't ski, but quite a few of my coworkers do.

A quick peak at the Sierra Summit web site shows that Toyota is their "official vehicle". Now, a feller might mention that ugly-hybrid thing to Toyota's advertising dept.
