CA HOV renewal- problems

Assemblyperson Fran Pavley got CA Assembly Bill 2628 passed that allowed us to get our carpool stickers.

Unfortunately, to continue past 1/1/2008 would require new legislation and she is termed out this year (per correspondence with her office).

RATS!!!!!

At least it was good while it lasted.

I would suggest writing your local Assemblyperson.....

Please let's all get this going, we still have some time to get it to pass before then, I mean a 1 1/2 years should be substantial time to get it to pass.

Agreed. We need some kind of lobbying/PR effort. Maybe we can even block the freeways and wave flags. That seems to get some attention lately.
