It actually started out as the Toronto Camry Club's website and grew. The problem is, ToyotaNation was taken over by some guy who had this brilliant idea of merging a whole number of forums together under the parent site of autoforums.com or something similar. As a result, a lot of the original members of ToyotaNation left as they didn't want to be part of a large commercial organisation. ToyotaNation was built on a community and not by some large corporation. Thus Toyota Tuners was formed by former TN members.
