Like Bjorn says - he's already done it... and that has inspired me. You just need a 9006 HID conversion kit (many brands and tints to choose from) and you're on your way. I recommend that you don't go above 6000k for color temp, unless you really like reduced output, and purple lights.

4300K okay?

I saw DocVijay's installation. Still unsure if it's the kind that I can do. I mean, I can do Coastal's EV mod but not the OEM one.

The 4300k is fine if you want to match the factory HID's. That's why I went with that temperature.

Not much to it. The first part is like changing the bulb (you have to remove a couple of bolts on the belly pan and pull the plastic down, then reach in a twist the bulb out, and the new HID in). The harder part is finding a place to strap the balast. I think you can do it if you managed the Coastal mod. The OEM version of the EV mod isn't much different, BTW! Just a few more panels to remove.

Any info out there on a FACTORY foglight kit?
[/b]

Here is the original Toyota part number for the fog lights 81211-52070 times two. Left and right are the same part number. The grilles that surround them are 53112-47030 and 53113-47030 (left and right) The bulbs are standard 9006 bulbs that can be found in ANY auto parts store. The wiring I got on ebay. Here is what I used...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-03...08636179QQrdZ1

The kit had the correct plugs for the bulbs. It had a relay even a switch. A simple positive and negative connection. No big deal. From the outside they look stock because they are.

The original grilles pop right out. Gently pull them out. The lamps literally snap in. The bumper is molded for them even on the non fog light cars. The new grilles also snap right in. It couldn't be easier.
